PRE-REGISTRATION POLICY:
No need to register until after you attend your first practices to determine rugby's a right fit for you. Your first practice is considered an introductory clinic and only requires a player packet filled out.
Once you decide you want to play rugby, then you must complete your official USA Rugby registration. Further explanation and directions are in the information boxes below.
WHY ARE THERE TWO FEES?

All players are required to register/pay two separate fees. Fees vary depending on age group or teams. Both fees are for 12 months (not just a "season") and go to two different governing bodies.
1) Florida Rugby is the governing body for USA Rugby in the state. It organizes matches, provides referees and liability insurance. Adults pay through USA Rugby website. Youth teams pay through Florida Rugby website. THE CLUB DOES NOT RECEIVE THESE FUNDS.

a) For adults, USA RUGBY - $88
- $50 goes to USA Rugby - $33 goes to Florida Rugby.
​
b) For High School, Florida Rugby - $65
- $35 goes to USA Rugby - $30 goes to Florida Rugby.
​
c) For Middle School/U13 Contact - $55
- $25 goes to USA Rugby - $30 goes to Florida Rugby.
d) Non-Contact Rookie Rugby - $10
- $5 to USA Rugby - $5 to Florida Rugby

2) Indian River Rugby Club Membership dues cover club expenses such as tournament fees, jerseys, equipment, field costs, travel, club registration fees, liability insurance, coaches registration fees, required clinics, etc. Club dues are as follows:

a) Adults - $180
- This covers not only the above-listed expenses, but also funds that will contribute towards hotel and other
travel expenses that players/coaches may incur throughout the season.

b) High School - $210
- This covers not only the above-listed expenses, but also a kit bag, practice t-shirt, travel polo,
*Carolina Ruggerfest is not included.
​
c) Rookie Rugby/U13 - $65
- This covers note only the above-listed expenses, but also a practice t-shirt.
